Prerequisites

Mandatory Requirement: Customers must have knowledge of or have taken the Gigamon Foundations I: Insight into Network Data Across Your Network (GFD1) course before they take this one-day follow-on course.

Before attending a Gigamon Foundations course, you should also understand the following:

  • Data security protection and prevention fundamentals
  • Fundamentals of route switch technologies

The Gigamon Foundations II course extends basic knowledge about how to implement and configure GigaVUE® platforms to include features that off-load CPU intensive tasks or otherwise streamline traffic ingestion by tools.
