How we are planning on SAFELY reopening our London Training Centre (Imparando)

As we have seen the lockdown measures begin to ease over the last few weeks we thought we would keep you up to date with our plans on safely reopening our London training centre.

We know many of you are keen join our Instructor-led classroom training sessions again, the good news is we now have options available on our public schedule commencing from 7th September. If however, you would prefer to learn remotely from the comfort of your own home, all of our courses will (as always) be available to attend online.

Strict controls have been implemented to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all our staff and customers alike, including comprehensive hygiene and sanitisation measures. We have reviewed all operational procedures & processes and many of the new measures introduced go substantially beyond stipulated Government guidelines.

Below is a summary of all the measures implemented:

  • Signage – to encourage proper hygiene practices
  • Sanitisation – an abundance of 70% isopropyl-alcohol based sanitisation points across the Facility, and in all classrooms, including alcohol-based surface wipes
  • Adaptions to the premises throughout to support Social Distancing, through the use of Floor Markings and Control Barriers
  • Temperature checks possible for all, on both arrival and departure
  • Staggered Course Start Times
  • Protective Perspex Screens in Reception Area
  • Single use pens
  • Fully revamped and deep-cleaned air conditioning systems
  • Revised classroom capacities
  • Repurposed layouts incorporating unidirectional flows
  • A “grab and go” bagged and boxed Lunch (Hot), for consumption outside or in classrooms
  • Scheduled tea/coffee breaks
  • Day-time cleaning (using 70% isopropyl-alcohol solutions)
  • Daily (evening) Deep-cleaning (using 99% isopropyl-alcohol solutions)
  • Isolation Room in the event of someone feeling unwell, or presenting as symptomatic
  • Staff fully training for all ‘critical incidents’, and in the appropriate use of PPE
  • Face Visors/masks will be used during Registration period, and during all catering services

For the protection of other course participants and our employees, we kindly ask you to abstain from visiting any of our facilities if any of the following symptoms applies to you:

- A new continuous cough

- A high temperature

- A loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)

OR

You have had contact with a corona virus/COVID-19 infected person within the last 14 days.

If you have travelled back from a country that requires an isolation period upon your return, as advised by the UK Government.
