Cloud Instructor

Reports to: Operations Director

Role: Fast Lane are looking for a full-time cloud instructor to lead the delivery of vendor authorised cloud training with particular focus initially on Microsoft Azure and either AWS or Google Cloud.

  • A great communicator, able to teach and mentor students through their learning journey and share their passion for the cloud.
  • A desire to learn, develop and stay at the bleeding edge of technology.
  • An ability to problem solve and work well under pressure.
  • A good team-player who can display plenty of initiative and get stuck in.
  • An attention to detail with a clear focus on high quality work.
  • Able to work extended hours occasionally if/when required.


Key responsibilities and accountabilities to include:

  • Teaching vendor-authorised Cloud training.
  • Assist sales team in working with clients to provide tailored training solutions to meet their needs.
  • Providing Subject Matter support to Fast Lane’s marketing and portfolio team as required.
  • Periodically conduct technical interviews to qualify new instructor candidates, and mentor new instructors during their candidacy process.


Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Experience working with at least 1 key cloud provider: Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud and preferably hold current certification with that vendor. Whilst holding a vendor authorised teaching certification (eg MCT, AAI) is highly desirable, it is not essential as certification can be provided for the right candidate. Great communication skills are essential.
  • Experience working with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience of working with virtualization technologies.
