Prerequisites

There are no official mandatory prerequisites from PeopleCert for the PRINCE2 7 Foundation exam. For the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner exam, PeopleCert requires one of the following certifications as a prerequisite. PeopleCert will not release exam results without proof of certification.

  • PRINCE2 6th Edition (Foundation or Practitioner)
  • PRINCE2 5th Edition (Foundation or Practitioner)
  • Project Management Qualification (PMQ)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management)
  • IPMA Level A (Certified Projects Director)
  • IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
  • IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
  • IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)
