Prerequisites
To gain the prerequisite skills and knowledge, learners must have passed the Cisco CCIE Routing and Switching written exam.
Before taking Cisco 360 CCIE R&S Advanced Workshop 2, learners should be very familiar with the topics that are covered in CIERS1. It is also strongly recommended that learners perform two self-paced, graded assessment exams before attending this course. Learners should be able to demonstrate advanced-level competencies (knowledge and skills) that are equivalent to the following from both configuration and troubleshooting perspectives:
- Perform expert-level tasks involving WAN technologies and switched Ethernet networks
- Perform expert-level tasks involving Routing Information Protocol version 2 (RIPv2), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
- Perform expert-level tasks for route redistribution
- Perform expert-level tasks for Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
- Perform expert-level tasks for IPv4 multicast
- Perform expert-level tasks for IPv6 unicast and multicast connectivity
- Perform expert-level tasks for router quality of service (QoS) using the Modular QoS CLI (MQC)
