Fast Lane's European expansion is right on track

Dubai, March 2003 -- Fast Lane, a leading IT knowledge company and a long-time Cisco Learning Partner in the Middle East, today announced that its expansion into Europe was 'right on track'.

Since the opening of Fast Lane's office in Austria last November 2002, Cisco has extended Fast Lane's Partner Licence to include Germany and Switzerland. This is a significant achievement for Fast Lane, as these markets are amongst the strongest economies in Europe, demanding high technical training standards, a service that Fast Lane has always been dedicated to providing.

"Fast Lane has been a Cisco Learning Partner for the past 7 years and we pride ourselves in being committed to maintaining high quality training standards across our centres in the Middle East and Europe where an international team of experts bring their commitment and ideas and knowledge to enhance a company's performance and productivity," said Josef Miskulnig, President and CEO, Fast Lane. "How? By providing companies in both regions with a valuable asset, a highly skilled IT workforce, who will play a critical role in enabling those companies to compete effectively in an increasingly competitive global economy."

Josef Miskulnig has a long experience and background in the IT industry and a unique insight into the current and upcoming developments in the IT arena and the growing demand for technical training and professional services across both European and Middle East regions. This, combined with Fast Lane's long-term relationship with Cisco, has contributed to Fast Lane's success in allowing businesses and individuals to benefit from its ability to exchange in-depth knowledge and expertise between both the Middle East and European regions.

This has already come into fruition in Europe, where the level of training developed in the Middle East by Fast Lane has benefited several customers there and the experience gained from completing specialized training in Europe has directly benefited Fast Lane customers in the Middle East. "As a result of expanding into Europe, our highly skilled experts have had great exposure to emerging trends and demands in the IT market, building on their knowledge and expertise through shared experience gained in the Middle East and Europe," said Miskulnig. "For example, we recently delivered technical training programs for a leading Swiss Service provider. This translated into an opportunity to transfer such specialized knowledge and training expertise gained to service providers in the Middle East region."

Fast Lane's objective is to be one of the top Cisco Learning Solution Providers in the EMEA region. With the company's successful expansion into Europe, underpinned by its presence and depth in the Middle East region and the consistent provision of high quality up to the minute training, Fast Lane's planned progression towards this objective is only a matter of time.

Fast Lane's headquarters for both the regional and European operations at Dubai Internet City (DIC) has provided the company with the flexibility and dynamics to expand into Europe, taking its strong partnership with Cisco in the Middle East into Ciscos' European sphere of operation.
