Cisco Releases New CQS Qualification

Cisco Unified Presence is a crucial component for delivering the full value of a Cisco Unified Communications environment.
It improves efficiency by collecting data about an individuals availability, such as whether they are on the phone or using video conferencing. Using information captured by Cisco Unified Presence, alongside applications such as Cisco Unified Personal Communicator and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (formerly Cisco Unified CallManager), enables colleagues to connect more effectively. Users can check the availability in real time and decide on the best method of contact, reducing 'phone tag' and improving productivity.
Cisco have released a CQS (Cisco Qualified Specialist) qualification entitled Cisco Unified Presence Specialist, designed for those whose
primary responsibility is to design, install and configure Cisco Unified Presence Release 6.0.
